Rise Kujikawa: The Lovers

Rise Kujikawa represents the Lovers arcana in Persona 4 Golden.

If Inaba wasn’t shaken up by all of the murders, it was certainly stirred from the arrival of Rise Kujikawa, or as her fans know her, Risette. To the shock of her fans and managers, Rise quit being a superstar and moved back to her hometown. Fame and its repercussions follow her like a cloud she desperately wants to shake off, since Rise feels like nobody knows the real her. Can you help Rise find herself again, and make the transition from pop star to normal high school student?

Tips

• Rise’s social link will start automatically on July 23rd after you’ve rescued her. She is available to hang out on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but not when it rains. On Friday she’ll be in Classroom Building 1F at the school, and on weekends and holidays you can meet her in the South Shopping District outside her family’s tofu restaurant.
• Bring a Lovers persona to level up Rise’s social link faster.
• Rise is a potential romance option for the main character. This choice happens in the rank 8 conversation. Don’t cheat on Rise with other girls or bad things will happen on Valentine’s Day…

• When Rise says, “But it’s a little embarrassing to show up alone, you know?”, choose “Just order takeout.” or “So you don’t eat out?” for +3 friendship.

Rank 3

• When Rise says, “It’ll take time to get back, so let’s walk around quick!”, choose any answer. All answers give +3 friendship.
• Rise learns the Treasure Radar ability to help the party with once you hit rank 3 in her s-link.

Rank 4

• When it says, “Rise is worried…”, “Grab her hand and run.” for +3 friendship.
• When “Rise looks desperate…”, “Go along with her.” for +3 friendship.
• When Rise says, “I’m sorry… Lying about marrying you and all…”, you can say either “I don’t mind.” or “It… It was a lie?” for +3 friendship.

• When Rise asks, “Senpai, have you ever thought that you’re pushing yourself too far, or that you were just acting…?”, tell her “All the time.” or “Sometimes.” for +3 friendship.
• When she asks, “You’re with me right now because I’m Risette, yeah?”, respond “I don’t know.” for +3 friendship.

Rank 6

• When Rise says, “A fan letter came, you see…”, give her any answer.
• When she says, “To think I trusted him… I feel betrayed!”, choose any answer.
• When Rise says, “I gave up on being Risette. I can’t meet her expectations…”, you can tell her “She’ll understand.” or “Having second thoughts?” for +3 friendship, but the first choice requires level 5 Understanding.
• When she says, “Doesn’t that sound fun? H-how about it? Haha… ha…”, answer with “If you’re serious…” for +3 friendship.
• Rise will learn the Enemy Radar skill that’ll help you out in dungeons once your social link hits rank 6.

• When Rise says, “She was cute, so I figured she would sell.”, pick any response.
• When she says, “You like having such a cute underclassman, right? I’m an ex-idol, after all.”, say that “That part doesn’t matter.” for +3 friendship.
• When “Rise looks helpless…”, you can choose any answer for +3 friendship, but “Laugh it off.” requires level 5 Courage.

Rank 8

• When Rise says “Senpai… I… I don’t know why I’m crying…”, choose any answer.
• When it says, “…You sense this is an important moment. There’s no turning back.”, you have two choices that decide whether you make Rise your girlfriend or stay just friends.

• When Rise asks, “I’ll ask the man himself! So – where do you hide them?”, give her any answer.

If you stayed friends with Rise:

• There are no choices on this version of the conversation.

When you’ve maxed out Rise’s social link, you’ll get the Signed Photo, which lets you fuse the persona Ishtar. Also, Rise’s persona Himiko will turn into Kanzeon, and she will learn Weakness Scan. This ability lets you scan what enemies are weak or immune to at the start of each battle.
