Hisano Kuroda: Death

Hisano Kuroda is the Death arcana’s representative in Persona 4.

As a widow, Hisano is mourning the death of her husband, and struggling with survivor’s guilt. She calls herself Death and dresses in black because of this. During her social link, you will help Hisano process her emotions and find the will to live again.

Social Link Tips

To start Hisano Kuroda’s social link, you will need to get the hospital janitor job from the job board, and get up to rank 4 of the Devil social link. This will allow you to meet her in the hospital at night.

After this initial encounter, you can spend time with Hisano at the Samegawa Flood Plain by the river. She is only available to meet on Sundays and holidays, and she will not be around when it’s raining. However, for this social link you don’t have to worry about choosing certain dialogue options to progress faster. Just meet with her and the social link will progress automatically.

At rank 6, to get to rank 7, talk to Daidara in the weapon shop. He’ll give you a letter from Hisano’s husband, which you will need to give to her. The rest of her social link will continue smoothly.

When you max out this social link, you’ll earn the Old Fountain Pen, which lets you fuse the powerful Death persona Mahakala.
