Dream Daddy: A Complete Walkthrough

Welcome to the Neighborhood!

Dream Daddy is a funny and charming dating simulation game made by the Game Grumps. In this game, you are a single dad raising a daughter, Amanda, who is in her senior year of high school, and you are moving into a new neighborhood in the town of Maple Bay. This neighborhood is home to seven handsome dads each raising their own children, and they’d love to get to know you! The challenge is to make choices that’ll get you closer to the man of your dreams while also being a great dad to your daughter. This guide will help you S-rank all dates, get Amanda’s best ending, and it even provides a way to get the secret cult ending! Read from the beginning to end or use the table of contents to skip to your preferred partner. Have fun!

*You and Amanda are moving out of her childhood home to get a fresh start.*

Moving Day

On the first day, you can create your dad, customizing your dad’s appearance and name, and you can also decide whether Amanda’s other parent was a dad or a mom. After you move in, there’s a couple of things to do on this day.

You can go to the coffee shop, where you will meet Mat, the owner of the coffee shop and one of your potential love interests. Mat is a hipster with a love of brewing complex coffees and jamming to obscure music. First, order any drink and Mat will be equally happy with your selection. Next, help him name his new banana bread. Go with Banana Bread Kennedys or Right Said Banana Bread to score points with Mat.

You can also head to the park, to meet Brian, who is enthusiastic about grilling, fishing, and spending time with his brilliant 10-year-old daughter, Daisy, and his cute corgi, Maxwell. Brian almost knocks you out with a frisbee; when he talks to you tell him you’ll catch it with your teeth next time to gain some favor. You will then have to enter a brag battle with him over your daughters, which looks like a classic Pokemon battle. To win, use the items Grade Card and Child Art, then keep using brag until Brian concedes the victory to you.

Next, go home to unpack, and you’ll get a knock on the door. It’s Joseph, another one of your new neighbors, bringing over some baked goods that his daughter made. Some social blunders will be made and some cookies will be swiped by Amanda. Wait, all of the cookies have been swiped by Amanda. Return the plate to Joseph’s house to meet his creepy children.

After heading back from Joseph’s house, you’ll run into Craig, your dad’s old college roommate. He is now a father of three, and just divorced his wife a year ago.

Once you get home, Amanda will tell you to entertain yourself since she’s going out with friends. You can go to sleep, or head to the bar. Sleeping takes you straight to day two. If you go to the bar, however, a woman named Mary will try to flirt with you unsuccessfully. She’ll eventually leave in a huff regardless of whether you buy her a drink or not. Then a guy named Robert, who you may have noticed earlier in the coffee shop, approaches. If you’d like to romance him later, the best dialogue options are to tell him you love shots, compliment his rugged good looks, and tell him you’re running from your problems.

When you head home, Robert will ask you to come into his house to hook up. If you want to be able to get his best ending, refuse to hook up with him and go home. If you want to get his other ending, however, choose to lay it on smooth or smile and nod, and continue to go home with him. This will get you the Bad Dad achievement. Either way, continue to Day 2.

*Good fathers take their daughters to Dead, Goth, and Beyond, even if they have puked in there before.*

Day 2: Meet More Dads

If you slept with Robert, you’ll wake up at his house, and then continue to an appointment with Amanda’s teacher. If not, however, you will receive a text from Craig, who invites you to hit the gym with him. When at the gym with Craig, choose these dialogue options if you want to do his route:

When he says, “You ready to kick some butt?”, choose “Of course I am!”
When he asks, “What do you think he’s doing?”, choose “Training to crush peoples’ skulls with his thighs.”
When he asks, “What do you do for fun?”, choose “I love learning” or “I check out my hot bod”.

After hanging out with Craig or waking up (at Robert’s house or at home if you chose to not go to the gym with Craig), your next mission is to head to a parent teacher conference with Mr. Hugo Vega, Amanda’s teacher. When he asks if Amanda is ok, choose “We just moved…” or “She has a tendency to bottle things up.” to not lose points with him.

Once you’re done, pick Amanda up from school and choose whether to eat at home or go to the mall. If you eat at home, check on the bacon to keep the pantry from burning. If you go to the mall, however, you can meet Damien, another love interest, in Dead, Goth, and Beyond. After dinner, the day ends. On to Day 3!

Day 3: The Cookout

Today, Joseph has invited you to a cookout at his place, and all of the dads will be there! Talk to everyone, then have burger time to end the cookout and the day, and recieve the Welcome to the Neighborhood achievement. The dads mentioned being on Dadbook, so the next morning you ask Amanda to make you an account.

Signing Up for DadBook

On Dadbook, answer the quiz questions to set up your profile. This doesn’t affect your chances with any of your love interests, so feel free to pick whatever options speak to you. Now you can browse through each dad’s profile, and message someone when you’re ready for a date. You’ll also get messages every now and then from Amanda, package notifications, and invites to group chats in the section on the right. Now pick your love interest and start the main game! Choose the dialogue options shown in each date here to get the most points and S-rank each ending. Go on every date with every dad to get the Dreamiest Daddy achievement if you’re playing on Steam.

Golf Minigame: Click when the ball is lined up correctly to go in the hole. You only have one shot per hole, so click carefully! There are 8 holes in total for the first set, and 10 for the other. S-rank the game by getting a score on 5 or more for the first set and at least 2 for the second.

Be honest with yourself. (If you choose to be mean to Brian and then throw a punch, you will die and get an achievement.)
Fishing MInigame: Easy peasy, just do one match and you’re done.
