“Xiangling is famous for her cooking skills, but the rest of the Liyue cast can also deliver! Paimon is drooling just thinking about it!”

Liyue: Colorful Characters, Flavorful Food

In Genshin Impact, there are loads of interesting characters fleshed out with their own personalities, preferences, fighting styles, and aspirations. Through events, hangouts, and story quests, you can uncover so many interesting details about their lives.

Did you know that cooking is another way to learn more about your favorite Genshin characters? Each character has a special variant on one recipe that only they can make, adding their own flair to its presentation and stat boosts. If you have Xingqiu make Crystal Shrimp, for example, he will present them in a beautiful blue box with his family’s seal on it… and remove carrots from the recipe because he hates them.

Here’s a guide to the special dishes for the characters from the nation of Liyue, with recipes and recipe locations, ingredients, and effects when eaten. Happy cooking, traveler!
