Shikanoin Heizou: Inazuma’s Debonair Detective
Genshin Impact‘s hangout events give you a chance to spend time with your characters. They work similarly to a visual novel, where the route you take depends on your dialogue choices. To unlock Heizou’s hangout event, you must complete the Inazuma archon quest, finish Itto’s story quest and acts 1 and 2 of the Raiden Shogun’s story quest, and reach adventure rank 40. For this guide, pay attention to the choices marked in orange; they determine your route.
Shikanoin Heizou, the young prodigy detective of the Tenryou Commission, is a man full of contradictions. While he is a public servant, his carefree disregard for rules and regulations are not what most people would expect. Heizou’s bright smile is ever-present whether he’s downing fried foods at the station canteen or inspecting a crime scene. Despite being one of the Tenryou Commission’s best martial artists, he finds fighting to be an uncouth way of catching criminals, and only uses it as a last resort. Heizou instead prefers to use his well-honed intuition to solve cases, and although his colleagues consider him eccentric and difficult to work with, they cannot deny that Heizou is excellent at his job. Even if his whereabouts are unknown half the time… Where is Detective Heizou now, and what is he up to? What mysteries await you in his hangout event? It’s time to get on the case!
“Coincidence” is a nice word. It makes things sound like they were meant to be. Unfortunately, as a detective, I don’t believe in coincidences. The two of us meeting each other is really the culmination of every choice and move we’ve made up to this point. So what I’m saying is… our destiny is something we choose.”
-Shikanoin Heizou
