Genshin Impact‘s Hangout Events are a fun way to get to know your characters better. Think of them like visual novels with branching routes based on your choices. To unlock Noelle’s Hangout Event, you’ll need to finish Mondstadt’s archon quest and reach adventure rank 26. By the way, for this hangout guide, pay special attention to options in orange. Those will determine your route.

Noelle is a 4-star Geo character from Mondstadt who wields a claymore in battle. She is the polite and dutiful maid to the Knights of Favonius, but she aspires to one day join their ranks as a full-fledged knight.

Noelle has worked very hard to achieve her goal, constantly training and studying to pass the knight exams. The people of Mondstadt know Noelle to be extremely reliable and always willing to lend a hand; anytime you call her name, she’ll appear to satisfy your wishes, almost like a genie.

However, it may be her dedication that is her downfall. Noelle cares so much about others’ needs and safety that she will disregard her own, and so she hasn’t passed the knight exam yet. Also, there are people who would take advantage of Noelle’s kindness.

Can you make a difference in her training and help Noelle realize that she needs to make herself a priority, too? It all depends on your choices in this Hangout Event!

Ending 1: A Cold Reception

Let’s begin with the first ending.

“Honorary Knight!”

Go outside of Mondstadt and talk to Noelle near the banks of Cider Lake.
“The Knights of Favonius have… maids?”
“You know… it’s okay not to be a knight.”
“A maid is a respectable position too, I’d like to become one.”
“I’m constantly running errands.”
“The strength to fight powerful enemies only comes with the experience gained during the completion of smaller tasks.”
“Go back to Mondstadt and see if there are people who need help.”

All of Life Is Training

Follow Noelle towards the city’s bridge.
Look for the source of the cry for help.
After talking with Alois and Noelle, go to the crossing to look for monsters.
Fight the hydro slimes that appear, then head back to Noelle.
“Not a trace.”
“They were only a few slimes.”

Guest From Afar

Take Alois back to the city gate.
“I’ll keep an eye on him. Nothing bad will happen.”
“Many times your height, without jumping.”
Next, take Alois to the Angel’s Share.
“…Made especially for you.”
Take Alois to Good Hunter.
“Brewing process?”
“This one was made especially for you.”
“Where are we going after the meal?”
Talk to Marjorie at With Wind Comes Glory.
“She’s a maid of the Knights of Favonius.”
“This one was made especially for you.”
“Allow me.”

After Hospitality Comes…

Escort Alois to the end of the bridge.
“If you understand, then nothing needs to be said.”
After talking with Alois, go back and talk to Noelle.
“He had a sinister plot, so I drove him away.”

Ending 2: “Goodbye, Miss Maid!”

Here are the steps for the second ending.

“Honorary Knight!”

Go outside of Mondstadt and talk to Noelle near the banks of Cider Lake.
“Is this… ‘maid-knight’ attire?”
“You know… it’s okay not to be a knight.”
“No matter how small the tasks, they still need someone to take care of them. I do small tasks all the time.”
“I’m constantly running errands.”
“Besides, you don’t exactly mind such tasks, right?”
“Think of every small task as a kind of training.”

All of Life Is Training

Follow Noelle towards the city’s bridge.
Look for the source of the cry for help.
After talking with Alois and Noelle, go to the crossing to look for monsters.
Fight the hydro slimes that appear, then head back to Noelle.
“Only saw a few monsters…”
“They weren’t exactly twice your height.”

Guest From Afar

Take Alois back to the city gate.
“Leave it to Noelle. She can take care of the situation.”
Next, take Alois to the Angel’s Share.
“…Noelle’s way of showing hospitality.”
Take Alois to Good Hunter.
“Easier to obtain?”
“It’s just Noelle’s way of showing hospitality.”
“Noelle, do we have anything else on the itinerary?”
Talk to Marjorie at With Wind Comes Glory.
“She’s a future knight of Favonius.”
“It’s just Noelle’s way of showing hospitality.”
“You two clearly aren’t talking about the same thing…”

Ending 3: A Defender’s Will Is Their Strength

Follow these steps for the third ending.

“Honorary Knight!”

Go outside of Mondstadt and talk to Noelle near the banks of Cider Lake.
“The Knights of Favonius have… maids?”
“Of course, where do you want to start?”
“Maidly duties?”
“What you lack is strength!”

Training Ground

Go behind the Knights of Favonius headquarters to the training ground. Ellin will arrange some training dummies for Noelle to smash. As Noelle, use your charged attack and quickly move past all the training dummies to pass Ellin’s trial.
“Is it because you lack real-world fighting experience?”
“Noelle, you rarely leave Mondstadt for training, right?”
“You could start by training in the areas around Mondstadt.”

For More Experience

Look for slimes in Mondstadt’s outskirts, north of Wolvendom.
Try your best to defeat the geo slimes, but if you don’t kill them in time, don’t worry about it.
Next, attempt to fight some dendro slimes. Don’t teleport, or else the challenge will start over. Again, don’t worry about losing.
Finally, fight an Eye of the Storm.
“It is precisely because the power of a single knight is limited that the Knights of Favonius was formed. Don’t you think?”
Now, clear out the hilichurl camp, and then talk to Henning.
“Could you really recognize Noelle from that distance?”
“You’ve gotten stronger.”
“This wasn’t training… you were trying to protect someone.”
“In the future, don’t leave everything to Noelle.”
For completing this ending, you will receive the “…For I Am Duty Bound” achievement.

Ending 4: A Maid Above Ground

Here’s what you have to do to get the fourth ending.

“Honorary Knight!”

Go outside of Mondstadt and talk to Noelle near the banks of Cider Lake.
“Is this… ‘maid-knight’ attire?”
“Of course, where do you want to start?”
“Knightly exercises?”
“What you lack is strength!”

Training Ground

Go behind the Knights of Favonius headquarters to the training ground. Ellin will arrange some training dummies for Noelle to smash. As Noelle, use your charged attack and quickly move past all the training dummies to pass Ellin’s trial.
“Because… You still need more strength!”

For Greater Strength

Head to the mining site southeast of Springvale.
As Noelle, break the three hard iron chunks, and then fight off the geo slimes.
Next, go down the road and fight a mitachurl.
After the battle, talk to Belinda by the rockfall.
“No.”
As Noelle, destroy the rocks, and then defeat the Lawachurl that appears.
Break all the hard crystal chunks.
“Noelle really wasn’t kidding about her strength…”
“Your strength blew me away!”

Ending 5: A Conundrum Called Love

Here’s the route for the fifth ending.

“Honorary Knight!”

Go outside of Mondstadt and talk to Noelle near the banks of Cider Lake.
“The Knights of Favonius have… maids?”
“Of course, where do you want to start?”
“Maidly duties?”
“What you lack is rest.”
“Stopping for occasional rest is all part of ensuring that you can train to your maximum ability.”
“In Lisa’s case, I’m afraid it’s probably just resting for the sake of resting…”

A Breather

Go to Good Hunter and take a little break. You’ll end up talking to Beatrice, who is having some romantic trouble.
“I’ll certainly do my best…”
“Maybe the frequent small talk…”
“It shouldn’t matter, it’s the thought that counts.”
“Sending a Mondstadt Grilled Fish should be fine.”

It’s the Heart That Matters

Make a normal or delicious serving of Mondstadt Grilled Fish and give it to Beatrice.
“But now’s not the best time to disturb them…”
“No whipping anything up…”
After relaxing with Noelle for a while, check in on Beatrice.
“…Everything okay?”
“It’s impossible to be an expert on everything, you know…”

The Almighty Maid and Her Impossible Task

After Noelle leaves, go to the library to check on her.
“Can I take a look?”
Before leaving, read Noelle’s study notes to get the “A World Known Only Unto Roses” achievement.

Ending 6: Whisper of the Paper Rose

Finally, here’s the route for the sixth ending.

“Honorary Knight!”

Go outside of Mondstadt and talk to Noelle near the banks of Cider Lake.
“Is this… ‘maid-knight’ attire?”
“Of course, where do you want to start?”
“Knightly exercises?”
“What you lack is rest.”
“If you’re too busy, you won’t have time to reflect on your progress and goals.”
“And speaking of tea, let’s have some!”

A Breather

Go to Good Hunter and take a little break. You’ll end up talking to Beatrice, who is having some romantic trouble.
“I’ll certainly do my best…”
“…So Quinn feels that Bea has nothing important to say to him…”
“Gifts convey our intentions, we should choose carefully.”
“But let’s think about what Quinn might like…”

Sincerest of Gifts

Talk to Marjorie at With Wind Comes Glory.
“Even without gifts, today is still a day to be celebrated.”
“The Frostening Bottle…”
Marjorie will give you a wrapped gift, so take it back to Beatrice. Next, it’s time to pick a good date location.
Go to Cape Oath and take a picture.
Go to Starsnatch Cliff and take a picture.
Go to Windrise and take a picture.
Go back to Beatrice to show her the pictures you took.
“Cape Oath…”
“Would you like to go there with me?”

Promised Place

Optionally, you can eavesdrop on Quinn and Beatrice’s date at Cape Oath, but once you’re done, head to Windrise with Noelle.
“So this is the responsibility that you put on yourself?”
“You already possess the greatest qualities of a knight.”
“…Do you know the meaning of a rose?”
“Uh… never mind.”
