Which Genshin Impact Characters Best fit their Zodiac Signs?
Genshin Impact has a lot of characters, and each character has a birthday, which means they all have official zodiac signs. But which characters best portray the traits of each zodiac sign?
For fun, I decided to channel my inner Astrologist Mona and analyze each character with a particular zodiac sign to see who fits their sign the best. Here are the winners for each sign, so you can see who you are most like.

Aries: Dehya (Born April 7)
Dehya, whose birthday is April 7, has the bold and independent nature of a true Aries. Aries are known for their strong leadership skills, and Dehya has earned the trust and loyalty of her mercenary band, the Flame Manes. She moves through the world with vitality, passion, and grit, and she expects the same determination from the people she would fight alongside.
Dehya is not afraid to step into conflict, such as when she interrupts Alhaitham and Cyno’s battle, and she isn’t afraid to speak her mind or lend a hand to friends who need her help, like Dunyarzad. This Aries is warm, loyal, and direct—a joy to have as a friend and a nightmare to have as an enemy.

Taurus: Diluc (Born April 30)
Our Taurus representative is the Dawn Winery’s young master, Diluc! Born on April 30 into a life of elegance, Diluc exudes the refined air of a Taurus, the sign of material comforts. However, he is quite practical and hardworking, taking care of his businesses by day and clearing his secret agenda at night.
Like many Tauruses, he can seem calm on the outside while burning with intensity on the inside, and he can come across as stubborn during an argument or inflexible when it comes to authority. However, his persistence has driven him to success. During the Stormterror questline, Diluc mentioned that we shared our secret with him, and he returned our trust to the same extent.
Tauruses value mutual trust and honesty above all else. With all this in mind, it is clear that Diluc embodies the manner and values of a Taurus.

Gemini: Paimon (Born June 1)
Our Gemini representative is our beloved traveling companion, Paimon! Paimon’s birthday is June 1. As a Gemini, Paimon is intellectually curious, sociable, and very talkative! She’s quick with her tips and even quicker with her quips. We see her becoming friends with people from all walks of life as we journey with her, and she can talk to anyone about anything.
Paimon has been brushing up on her reading, but she’s always had that Gemini drive to understand the world around her, even if it’s just to learn about food.
There’s also something interesting about Paimon that may show that her birthdate falling in Gemini is intentional. Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury, who was a Roman god with winged shoes. And Paimon floats! Therefore, she fits her given sign very well.

Cancer: Kaveh (Born July 9)
Kaveh, whose birthday falls on July 9, is very much a Cancer. Cancers are sentimental, empathetic, creative, and focused on the family and home. As an architect, Kaveh takes the Cancer ideal of a comfortable home and a happy family and shares it with the world. He still looks up to his parents very much and keeps their things, even if he wasn’t able to keep the house that he grew up in.
Kaveh cares about others to the point where he is vulnerable to the occasional scam, like the people who were selling keychains to “feed starving children”. His big heart sets him apart from his peers, and it’s his greatest strength and his biggest weakness at the same time. However, his vision for what Sumeru could be as the Nation of Wisdom is (according to Nahida) almost perfect.
Cancers like Kaveh hold lofty ideals, but without setting a high standard, you’ll never get anywhere!

Leo: Navia (Born August 16)
With a flair for the dramatic, the impeccably dressed Navia commands attention when she enters the room. However, this Leo, born on August 16, is far more than a flashy figurehead for the Spina di Rosula. She’s earned her subordinates’ loyalty because she can lead with a charming velvet glove or a fierce iron fist, and she knows when to use both.
Leos make for prudent leaders. They’re great at taking charge of a situation and using their vitality to get things done. The Demoiselle is a loyal and generous friend and boss, and despite all the losses she went through in the Archon quest, she remains committed to helping the people of Poisson and Fontaine as a whole. Her Leo determination shines as bright as the sun.

Virgo: Ningguang (Born August 26)
Go into the Jade Chamber and look around at the neatly stacked scrolls, pristine ceramic ornaments, and the densely detailed info wall. Ningguang’s supreme control of her environment and her affairs make her the epitome of a Virgo.
Born on August 26, the Tianquan came from humble beginnings, but that didn’t stop her. Her Virgo dedication led her straight to the top of Liyue’s commercial council. Ningguang makes excellent use of her resources; she’s got eyes and ears on every corner, even the little ones.
Virgos make for wise and helpful mentors, and the people around Ningguang have definitely noticed. Her advice is highly sought after, with people paying millions to eat lunch with her and learn from her or hunting down the paperwork she throws away.
She can both see the big picture and tweak the small details of her plans to perfection. These Virgo traits have made her the most powerful woman in Teyvat.

Libra: Ayaka (Born September 28)
This graceful Libra has diplomacy written into her blood and birthright. Ayaka was born on September 28 to the Kamisato clan, and upholding their ideals is very important to her. Her Libra need for fairness and justice in Inazuma’s society is what led her to join the resistance, to bring stability and balance back to her country.
She carefully considers problems from many sides, but she is also open-minded to trying new things, such as starring in a movie in Fontaine. Ayaka is polite and kind, and even though she’s a little shy, she’s good at collaborating with varied personalities like Yae Miko and Yoimiya for cultural events. And like many Venus-ruled Libras, she’s got a great sense of aesthetics, which makes her great at her job!

Scorpio: Eula (Born October 25)
It’s kind of funny that Eula’s a Scorpio, considering her catchphrase is “Vengeance will be mine!” and Scorpios have a reputation for seeking vengeance when they’re wronged. Scorpio is one of the most misunderstood signs of the zodiac, and unfortunately Eula has experienced a lot of mistrust and prejudice over her family line.
Pluto’s influence as Scorpio’s ruling planet brings hardships, and it takes a strong person to deal with those hardships and keep going. However, Eula is fiercely loyal to the friends who are willing to look past her haughty exterior and see the emotional, intuitive person beneath.
Scorpios make good detectives thanks to this deep intuition and emotional intelligence, and Eula happens to be the captain of the Reconnaissance Company. And she definitely has the Scorpio charisma as an excellent dancer. Her birthday is October 25.

Sagittarius: Sucrose (Born November 26)
There are a lot of options for Sagittarius, which might be the most common sign in Genshin Impact. But then I thought about it, and what’s more adventurous than keeping a hilichurl in your basement? Sucrose, who was born on November 26, has Sagittarius’s adventurous spirit in the form of boundless intellectual curiosity. She is truly passionate about alchemy, chasing her newest discoveries with a fire sign’s enthusiasm.
Although she is shy, her Sagittarian honesty shines through when Albedo and Timaeus ask for her opinion on an experiment; even if the answer is critical, you can trust it’s what she really thinks. And her conversations with Collei show what a deep thinker she is.
Sucrose makes for a wonderful archer.

Capricorn: Zhongli (Born December 31)
As the 6,000-year-old god of geo and the creator of mora, it makes perfect sense that Zhongli is a Capricorn, an earth sign often associated with wealth and ruled by Saturn, which is associated with time. His birthday is on December 31.
As a young god, Zhongli definitely had to have a strong sense of ambition to be able to defeat the other gods and gain control of Liyue. Even now, he shows dedication to his work, even if he is “merely” a funeral parlor consultant; he is highly sought after for his expertise, and he carries out his tasks meticulously and with poise.
Capricorns are known to revere tradition, and Zhongli knows Liyue’s cultural heritage like the back of his hand. Also, Capricorns are said to become more relaxed as they age, and Zhongli has mellowed out from his archon war days, pursuing a mortal life and enjoying simple pleasures like shopping trips around Liyue Harbor. With all this, you can solidly say he’s a Capricorn.

Aquarius: Alhaitham (Born February 11)
Alhaitham, born on February 11, feels like a textbook Aquarius. Alhaitham’s razor-sharp intellect and logical approach to life are pretty typical for his sign, so it’s no surprise he became a scholar.
He’s confident in standing up for what he believes in, and although he may not show it in the typical way, Alhaitham does care for the people around him. Alhaitham is also very individualistic, marching to the beat of his own drum despite what others may say about his habits.
Rebellion against the norm is a core Aquarius trait, so who better to have at the center of your societal uprising, even if he did it mostly for his own motives?

Pisces: Kokomi (Born February 22)
Kokomi was born on February 22, making her a Pisces, which is very appropriate for her ethereal beauty and mermaid-themed outfit. Pisces are known for being intuitive, compassionate, and creative, albeit somewhat introverted and self-sacrificing. Kokomi is a caring leader to the people of Watatsumi Island. She always considers how her people are feeling and what they need, demonstrating a Pisces’ strong emotional intuition.
Her creativity shows itself in her willingness to look outside the box when it comes to strategy, and it helps turn the tide for the resistance during Inazuma’s civil war.
However, she is an introvert and gets easily burned out by the long hours of leadership, and sometimes needs to retreat into the world of books to get her energy back. Even if it takes a toll on her, Kokomi would bear all this and more for the sake of her people.
