Here’s a guide on where to find all keys, records, and tapes in Killer Frequency.

A Station Full of Secrets

Killer Frequency has several things that you can collect while you play through the game: keys to different rooms in the station, records to play for the audience, and advertisement tapes when you need a commercial break. Some are already available when you start the game, but some collectibles are hidden, and you’ll need to go out of your way to get them. This guide will help you complete your inventory and unlock several achievements in the game.

Keys

All 6 keys can be found during the main storyline, passed under Peggy’s door. Here’s the order in which you get them:

1. 2nd Floor Stairway – You’ll earn this key after calling Maurice, and it’ll let you access the first floor.
2. Kitchen Key – Peggy will give this to you after Virginia hangs up during her first call. This lets you into the staff area by reception.
3. Fire Exit Door – After Dawn calls back asking to play her song for the second time, Peggy will send you out into the alleyway to find it, and she’ll give you this key.
4. Basement Key – Grab this key from Clive’s desk in his secret basement lair.
5. Basement Key 2 – After saving Chuck Brody, return to Clive’s secret basement room and this key will be in a nook in the wall where the bulletin board was hanging.
6. Reggie’s Office Key – During Casey’s call, Peggy will give you this key to enter Reggie’s office and look at employee files.

Once you have all keys in your possession, you’ll earn the “Master of Unlocking” achievement on Steam.

Records

You will start with 8 records, as follows:

1. Blast Processor – 198X
2. David Scopo – Moonlight
3. Crying for Help – The Flow
4. The Late Night Lurkers – If You Dare
5. Knife and Ez – Stab in the Twilight
6. Stormriders – The Glam Jam
7. Smooth – The Word
8. The Hang-Ups – Let Me Go

There are also 4 hidden records that can be found at certain points in the story:

9. Roddy Snatcher – Final Breath can be found on a bottom shelf on the right side of the reception desk, behind the counter.

10. Vice – I’m Coming To Getcha can be found in the living room area past the kitchen. Look on a shelf to the left of the TV and you should see it next to some binders.

11. The Barn Finds – Long Ride Home is found during the story, when you’re sent outside to look for this record since Peggy threw it out the window. It’s sitting on a mattress at the end of an alleyway, across from a fusebox.

12. Caged Tiger – One Last Goodbye is at the end of the maze in the basement storage room with all of the tapes. At the last tape, look in the drawers on the desk, and you should find this record in the middle one.

Playing all records, including the hidden ones, during the night will give you the “Disc Jockey” achievement on Steam. Collecting every hidden record will give you another achievement, “Complete Discography”.

Tapes

You’ll start with 3 ad tapes to play:

1. Master Robbie’s Dojo
2. Teddy Gallows Jr. Campaign Ad
3. Gallow’s Creek Harvest Festival

The fourth and final ad tape is in the office area upstairs, the one with the fax machine. Look for a desk with a trophy on it, and you should find the tape sitting on the desk. This is an ad for Grilling Spree, a local restaurant.

If you play all ad tapes in the course of one playthrough, you’ll get the “A Word From Our Sponsors” achievement on Steam.
