These Apartments Are a Little Complex

In this short horror game by Chilla’s Art, you play as a mailman delivering packages to an apartment complex late at night. A man named Kohei used to live here, but he has disappeared under suspect circumstances. He also seems to have made his neighbors angry somehow. Throughout the story of Night Delivery, you’ll find clues to help you unravel the mystery behind Kohei’s disappearance.

Can Locations

The collector achievement is easily obtained at the start of the game. For this, you’ll need to find 36 cans hidden around the map. The gallery above shows their locations.

  1. From the van, you can see two ramps on the ground to the left. Go past them and turn around to see this can under the second ramp.
  2. Next, look on the other side of the road to see this can next to someone’s doorstep.
  3. Look by the door of the house at the end of this road.
  4. There’s also a can in the window of this same house at the end of the road.
  5. When you turn to go back towards the van, there’s a can in the bushes on the right. Look at the corner of the wall.
  6. While you walk down the alleyway behind the apartments, you’ll see a can under one of the bushes.
  7. In the playground behind the apartments, look at the steps in front of the train for another can.
  8. There’s another can under the side of the train.
  9. Look on top of the bench by the train.
  10. A can is sitting in the corner of the sandbox.
  11. There’s also a can next to the merry-go-round.
  12. Look in between the benches next to the merry-go-round.
  13. Go down the other alleyway that leads to the parking lot. This can is on a wall in the corner.
  14. Further down this alleyway, there’s another can under the air conditioner.
  15. In a small nook with two bushes, there’s a can under the left one.
  16. Under the support next to a fallen bicycle, there’s a can.
  17. There’s also a can cleverly hidden on the fallen bicycle itself.
  18. Around the corner, there’s a can in a bicycle’s basket.
  19. On top of the next bicycle shelter, there’s another can in the corner.
  20. This can is in between the walls of two bicycle shelters.

  26. In a red basket under the stairs at ground level.
  27. On top of the garage door that leads to the back alleyway, from under the ground floor stairs.
  28. Next to a pile of wood in the same area as the previous two cans.

  33. Look at the side of the trash blocking the elevator on the fourth floor to find this can.

  35. Look at the railing between rooms 402 and 403.
  36. Look at the railing by room 506.

Package for Room 206

When you’re done with the Collector achievement, it’s time to start the main part of the game. Grab the package for room 206 from the van and bring it upstairs. You can knock or ring the intercom doorbell. Ringing the doorbell 5 times gets you the Intercom achievement, while knocking 5 times gives you the Knock Knock achievement.

Once you get the attention of the apartment’s owner, he answers the door. He’s visibly drunk, and angry that his package is late, so he throws a water bottle at you. If you’re going for ending 1, note that the water bottle went over the ledge into the parking lot below.

Package for Room 502

Your next delivery is for room 502. Since the staircase from the 3rd to the 4th floor is blocked, you’ll have to take the elevator up. A young woman answers the door and pays you with a can of cat food for your trouble. If you’re trying for ending 1, this will come in handy.

Package for Room 401

Michiru, the guy living in room 401, is a paranoid shut-in, and he won’t take his package right away. First, you’ll have to go down to room 105, where a so-called priest lives.

The priest demands money, so you’ll have to go up to 401 to get the money. Then he wants even more money, so you’ll have to get the rest of Michiru’s monthly allowance from him. Finally, after all of this running back and forth, the priest will bless the package, then tell you to get out. How rude!

When you return Michiru’s package to him, he also shuts the door in your face. These customers suck.

Package for Room 305

In room 305, you’re going to get startled by this lady with a weirdly flexible neck. Ms. Flexy-neck wants you to put her bed together in addition to delivering it. Go into her living room and put the bed frame together. Before you go, enter the room next to you to see something disturbing.

Package for Room 202

Bring the fifth package to room 202. When the lady answers the door, her baby will escape like he’s been planning it for all 15 months of his life. To make things easier on you, he’s hiding in room 403. This apartment has some very strange decor: photos of a fridge in the dark are all over the place. The baby is hiding in a closet. To get the closet to open, look at the photo in the bathtub, then go get the baby. Before you leave, go out on the balcony out back, and knock the flowerpot into the back alley below. This will be important later if you’re trying to get ending 1.

Now that you’ve got that little rascal, enter the elevator and attempt to go down. But the lights go out and the baby disappears…

Kohei’s Diaries

For this stage of the game, there will be walls blocking off sections of the apartment building, and ladders will lead to these different sections.

There are 6 new packages in the van for you to deliver. Pick them all up, and visit these rooms: 105, 202, 502, 401, 206, and 305. After each room gets their package, you’ll get a diary entry from the missing tenant, Kohei.

Finally, get back into the elevator on the ground floor to be jumpscared by some guy running at you with a knife. Don’t worry, you’ll awaken in the elevator holding the baby. Return him to his mother in room 202 to get the Package Delivery achievement.

Optional Steps for Ending 1

You may have seen some notes about tasks you can do to get ending 1 throughout the walkthrough. If you want this ending, here’s how to get it.

  • Grab the water bottle off the ground that the guy in 206 threw at you. Take it to the playground, where a dog is sitting there. He’s sadly staring at an empty water bowl. Fill the bowl with water to get a letter from Kohei’s mom.
  • Take the cat food from room 502 and feed the cat on the dumpster. He’ll move, allowing you to open the lid. Inside is another letter from Kohei’s mom.
  • The final thing we’ll need comes from the pot we knocked off of room 403’s balcony. Go into the back alley to find a key in the shards of the flowerpot. This key goes to the mailboxes by the elevator door. Open box 404 to get the final letter from Kohei’s mom.

If you want ending 2, ignore these tasks entirely.

Endings

Your final package for the night goes to room 404. Depending on whether or not you’ve gotten Kohei’s mom’s letters, things will go differently. Enter and search the apartment to meet your fate…
